Car crashes into bridge causing long tailbacks
THERE are long tailbacks on the A390 near Truro this lunchtime following an accident in Tresillian.
The road is partially blocked and queues are stretching in both directions towards the Roseland Peninsula turn-off and Waitrose supermarket on the outskirts of Truro.
Reports are that a car has hit the bridge near Lower Park.
Police are on scene, assisting with directing traffic.
UPDATE: Traffic is now easing and police have left the scene following the recovery of the vehicle.
Awaiting Highways to clean up an oil spillage on the road. There is still some residual traffic through Tresillian.
