Organisers of the Pink Wig Night have had to change venue due to severe weather this weekend.

A 'breastival' was due to be held in Events Square tomorrow evening after the much-anticipated parade.

Organisers have said that predicted weather conditions mean it will not be safe to hold the after-party in the square.

It has been relocated instead to Princess Pavilion.

The parade will go ahead as planned, leaving The Moor at 6.30pm leading up to Avenue Road and finishing at the pavilion.

Naomi Morant, Falmouth Town Team's events and marketing coordinator, said: "Please help and support Pink Wig Events in making the best of the situation.

"The Pink Wig bars, raffle table, Zumba, The Strutts and Nate Valentino will all be at the Pavilion. Pink Wig 2019 is still happening!"

The breast cancer awareness event sees hundreds of women parade through the streets each year donning florescent hairpieces.
