Two children were assaulted during a robbery in Truro on Tuesday (August 20).
The incident happened at around 4.30pm on a footpath near Trelawney Road.
A 12-year-old boy was assaulted by an unknown male before having his wallet stolen which contained cash. The male then assaulted the boy’s brother.
DC Matt Cobb said: “This was a nasty incident and we are asking the public to get in touch if you have any information to help with our investigation.
“The suspect is described as white, aged 15-years-old to 16-years-old, tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a black hoody, black jeans and grey Nike trainers with a white tick logo.
“The suspect had grey gloves and had a brown mark which could possibly be a bruise to the right cheekbone.”
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the suspect or has any more information to contact them via 101@dc.police.uk or by calling 101 quoting CR/075458/19 for the attention of DC 5172 Matt COBB.
