I have often thought that take away food shops could spend 15 minutes or so when they close up to pick some of the litter that some of their clients simply just discard on the ground.

I have noticed first thing when I go daily shopping that there is much litter around The Moor, down Killigrew Streetand along towards the Prince of Wales Pier which has just been thrown away when the food is consumed the night before.

Show a bit of goodwill take away managers and clear up last thing at night before going home. Please show some responsibility in the interests of the town that you serve and benefit from!

Furthermore, the town council ought to replaced the rubbish bins on the pier as they are not seagull proof. Due to this failing it is regrettable that much litter will inevitably be blown away and end up in the seas until this is done.
