Penryn Athletic made it two wins from two with a dominant 3-1 victory at home to Ludgvan on Saturday.
Bradley Leivers opened the scoring for Athletic in the 17th minute with a fine header from Harry Roberts' corner.
The hosts doubled the lead with an excellent team goal on 65 minutes, with Ryan Reeve finishing off a move that involved Russell May, Jack Rapsey and Leivers.
But despite the home side's dominance the Hurlers found themselves back in with a shout six minutes later, with Ashley Ellis firing a cross past Ben Mitchell at the far post.
But Leivers restored the two-goal advantage on 79 minutes, slamming home after goalkeeper Andrew Curnow parried Reeve's shot into his path.
Falmouth Town reserves came out on top in a nine-goal thriller at home to Mousehole reserves.
Brodie Kemp was the star man, scoring a hat-trick for the home side, with Fraser Harris and substitute Charlie Edney also netting.
Jason Simmons scored a treble in reply for the Seagulls with James Squires completing the scoring.
Chris Blee and Jack Prowse scored as Mullion won 2-0 at home to St Agnes, preserving their 100 per cent start to the season.
Wendron United played out a 2-2 draw at Hayle. Billy Stone and Ben Coleman scored for the Dron.
Helston Athletic reserves were beaten 3-1 at Perranporth. Alistair Williams scored for the Blues, with a brace form Luke Wort and Terry Campbell's strike sealing victory for the hosts.
St Day won 2-0 at Illogan RBL in a repeat of last season's Combination League final. Jack Willis and Chris Shackley scored for the Saints.
