A FALMOUTH man was fined for stealing £400 worth of beach accessories from Maenporth Beach Cafe weeks after it had been destroyed in a fire.

Robert John Phillip Bullock, 46, of Porhan Green, indicated a guilty plea and was fined £80.

Among the stolen items were four body boards, six beach shelters, boule games, a crocodile inflatable, two skim boards, two footballs, 25 pairs of beach shoes, two beach ball bat sets, four crab lines, drinks bottles and rubber rings.

He was also ordered to pay compensation of £50, court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £30.

A FALMOUTH woman was fined for speeding on the A30 at Roseworthy in Camborne.

Hannah Rebekka Jean Payne, 27, of Queen Anne Gardens, committed the offence on February 18 this year.

She was proven guilty through the single justice procedure and fined £70.

Payne was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30, and her driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.

A HELSTON woman received a fine for speeding.

Samantha Elizabeth Ann Sheffield-Dunstan, 46, of Hellis Wartha, committed the offence on January 15 at Trewennack.

She was proven guilty through the single justice procedure and fined £50.

Sheffield-Dunstan was also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £30.

Her driving record was also endorsed with three penalty points.

A WOMAN from Macclesfield was fined for speeding in Camborne.

Tracy Jane Jones, 52, of Lilford Square, was fined £66 for breaking the 70-mile-per-hour speed limit on the A30 at Roseworthy.

The offence took place on September 2 2018 and Jones pleaded guilty.

She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30, court costs of £85 and her driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.

A REDRUTH woman was fined for driving a Jaguar with no insurance.

Linda Sweet, 62, of Drump Road, pleaded guilty to the offence which took place on March 11 this year in Nettles Hill, Redruth.

She was fined £120 and ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £30.

Her driving record was also endorsed with six penalty points.

A PENZANCE man was fined for failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver in Manchester.

James Wall, 29, of Bosullow, pleaded guilty to the offence which took place on December 19 2018.

He was fined £300 and ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £30.

His driving record was also endorsed with six penalty points.

PARENTS who failed to ensure their children regularly attended school are now facing large court costs.

Kye Powell, 32, of Trevelyan Road, Redruth, and Jessica Powell, 33, of Strawberry Fields, Lanner, pleaded guilty to three separate charges each.

They have each been sentenced to a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay court costs of £831.10 and victim surcharges of £20.
