A DRIVER had to be rescued after their car rolled down an embankment in the early hours of this morning.
Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service's Critical Control received a call just after midnight to car which had crashed on the A30 near Redruth.
The vehicle had left the road and rolled down an embankment.
Both the fire appliance and rescue tender from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station were mobilised to the incident.
On arrival crews assisted ambulance to release one casualty.
Devon and Cornwall Police also attended the scene.
