A MAN who failed to comply with supervision requirements following release from prison has been fined by Truro magistrates.

Jamie Tomlin, aged 36, of Trevethan Road, Falmouth, admitted failing to attend appointments on March 15, March 26 and April 9 this year.

He also failed to maintain contact with his Responsible Officer.

He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs.

A DRIVER who failed to stop following an accident in which another person was injured has been heavily fined.

James Paradise, aged 41, of Wheal Damsel Road, Carharrack, admitted failing to stop his Vauxhall Astra in Hill Head, Penryn, after damage was caused to a red Skoda Fabia, a white Vauxhall Insignia and a blue Fiat Punto.

Paradise also pleaded guilty to a second offence of driving without due care and attention when the incident took place on March 23.

He was fined £592 for the failing to stop offence and his driving record was endorsed with eight points.

For driving without due care and attention, he was ordered to pay £85 costs and £59 victim surcharge.

EXCEEDING a 30mph speed limit on the A394 between Newtown and Germoe has resulted in a fine for a 46 year-old man.

Lee Gordon Bishop, of Railway Terrace, Illogan, admitted committing the offence on February 26 in a Peugeot Boxer.

He was fined £188 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with four points.

A PENZANCE man broke a 50mph speed limit.

Nicholas Clive Cawston, aged 49, of Daniel Place, committed the offence in a Mercedes Vito on the A30 near St Erth, on February 26.

He was fined £440 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £44 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with four points.

THE driver of a Mercedes Sprinter exceeded a 60mph limit on the A30.

Shaun Paul Webb, aged 57, of Trenance Road, Camborne, admitted committing the offence near Launceston on February 26.

He was fined £139 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with three points.

A 34 year-old man failed to give information relating to the driver of an alleged offence.

Raimondas Zibikas, of Tolver Road, Penzance, committed the offence on April 5.

He was fined £660 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £66 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with six points.
