FIREFIGHTERS had to deal with an out of control bonfire in St Keverne on Friday night.
A Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “At 10.04pm Critical Control received a 999 call reporting a bonfire that was out of control that had set fire to a hedge, and was spreading.
“Six Firefighters on one appliance from St Keverne Community Fire Station attended the incident and used two Hose Reel Jets to extinguish the fire.”
