AN ELDERLY woman sustained serious injuries following a crash in Camborne.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident at around 9.55am on Thursday, September 12.
It took place in Moor Street and the 80 year-old woman was airlifted to Derriford Hospital, where her injuries were described as serious.
Officers from Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team, crime scene investigators as well as forensic collision and vehicle examiners attended the scene.
The road was closed for several hours while specialist examination took place.
Police are grateful for the patience of the public whilst this took place
Witnesses are requested to contact Devon and Cornwall Police on Tel:101 or via email 101@dcp.police.uk with information quoting log number 0254 of the 12th September 2019.
Police are especially interested in information from anyone who may have seen the collision or has dashcam footage of the incident.
Also they appeal to the driver of a small red car who was travelling along Moor Street at the time of the collision to make contact on the above number.
