HELSTON Athletic have been handed a tricky trip to Mousehole in the Cornwall Charity Cup quarter-finals.

Falmouth Town will host Penzance in their match, with all ties taking place on Tuesday, November 26 or Wednesday, November 27.

Both Helston and Mousehole, currently ranked third and fourth respectively in the South West Peninsula League Premier West, scored six goals in their respective first-round wins on Wednesday night.

Billy Tucker scored a hat-trick as the Bues won 6-1 at Sticker, with Kieran Toland also bagging a treble in the Seagulls' 6-0 win at Porthleven.

The two teams will meet in the league before their quarter-final tie, with the Seagulls visiting Kellaway Park on Wednesday, October 9.

Falmouth Town have been drawn at home again, with Penzance making the trip to Bickland Park.

Town were due to host Liskeard Athletic in their first-round tie on Tuesday, but the Blues forfeited the fixture on the morning of the game due to being unable to raise a team.

Penzance were the top scorers of the first round, putting nine goals past struggling St Dennis on Wednesday night. Anton Oliver, Andreas Calleja-Stayne and Jacob Cleverly each scored hat-tricks as the hosts won 9-3.

The two sides also have a league meeting prior to their last-eight clash, with Penzance visiting Town on Wednesday, October 30.

Elsewhere, Saltash United will host Godolphin Atlantic (Newquay) and Launceston will visit Newquay.
