There are long delays and heavy traffic on one of the main routes into Truro this afternoon following a crash on the roundabout.
A collision has taken place on the A39, on the approach the Arch Hill roundabout.
The road is partially blocked and traffic sensors show particular congestion coming from the Falmouth direction, although there is a build-up of vehicles on all approaches.
Sensors also show heavy congestion on the A390 approach to the Sainsbury’s roundabout, from Truro Football Club through to New County Hall, which could lead to delays in reaching the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
The road is also busy heading in the opposite direction.
UPDATE: Traffic is reported to have returned to normal.
