An historic building on The Moor that has been empty since February could be taken over by a video game developer.
Antimatter Games' managing director Rich Barham told the Packet that the company will most likely be moving in as they plan to double the number of their employees.
He said: "We want to be in Falmouth, we're really hoping that we can be part of the regenerating the high street.
"There have been a lot of empty store fronts and we're hoping the more we will contribute, the more people will come back."

The company has submitted a planning application to change the use of the building so that the whole premises can be used as an office rather than a store front.
It will move in if Cornwall Council planning committee decides to grant the change of use.
Mr Barham has worked with some of the world's leading game developers in California.

He was group manager of Blizzard from 2006-2008 (World of Warcraft), director of ZeniMax (Elder Scrolls Online) and director of Riot Games (League of Legends).
The gaming guru moved to the area in 2014 to take up the post of managing director of Antimatter Games, based in the Tremough Innovation Centre (a 'business accelerator' managed by the University of Plymouth).

He said: "I always wanted to live back in the UK and bring the experience I learned around the world. I wanted to learn from the best and bring that back to the UK.
"I spent a lot of time in Cornwall on holiday with my family and it's the closest thing to California which is where I lived."
He added: "[Cornwall] is a great place to live and work, not without its challenges, but at the end of the day that's the case everywhere and the challenges we have here are ones that if enough people get involved, they're ones we can solve."
