Firefighters attended a blaze in St Ives on Saturday night (October 5).
The Critical Control Centre was informed of a fire in Carbis Bay at approximately 11.55pm, with three appliances from St Ives, Hayle and Tolvaddon and an FDS Officer attending the incident.
The fire was on the ground floor of a three-storey building which was heavily smoke logged, with crews checking the building with breathing apparatus before confirming that the fire was out.
The FDS Officer carried out an initial Fire Investigation which will be continued this morning.
