It’s all change at the helm of the Lizard Lifeboat this week.
Coxswain of the last 12 months, Russ Craig, has left the station after joining the crew at Kilcobben Cove while coxswain Andrew Putt took a year-long secondment as RNLI regional improvement manager.
Russ is now heading to St Helier to provide Tamar coxswain cover and will afterwards provide cover wherever it is need across the RNLI.
A spokesperson for the Lizard Lifeboat said: “We all wish Russ well and thank him for his service at the Lizard Lifeboat Station.”
It is now back to normal onboard lifeboat Rose, as she sees the return of Andrew back at the helm.
