Homes could be without power until 10pm
Homes in parts of Truro are without power this evening and owners have been warned it could stay off until 10pm.
Houses in six postcode areas of the city are affected, with Western Power Distribution reporting about 20 properties have experienced a loss in electricity.
These are homes in the TR1 3FY, TR1 3SS, TR1 3RW, TR1 3RR, TR1 3RU, TR1 3DR postcode areas.
The electricity company described it as a “low voltage” incident, explaining: “These incidents tend to be smaller, more localised and could be why some of your neighbours still have power.”
A spokesperson added: “We estimate the problem will be resolved by 10pm.”
