A woman has been airlifted to hospital with a head injury after falling on the path to Pedn Vounder beach in West Cornwall.
Several coastguard teams as well as the Penlee Lifeboat, a land ambulance and an air ambulance crew attended the scene.
Coastguard officers and paramedics went down to the beach to stabilise the casualty and help winch her into the the coastguard helicopter.
She was then taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital in Treliske for further treatment.
The popularity of the secluded beach near Treen has exploded in recent years after images of its idyllic sands went viral on social media platforms such as Instagram.
But less well-known is the treacherous path down to the beach that makes it difficult to access for everyone.
The Coastguard rescue helicopter from Newquay attended with Coastguard rescue teams from Lands End and Penzance.
Cornwall Air Ambulance and South West Ambulance also attended as well as the RNLI's Penlee Lifeboat.
HM Coastguard has urged members of the public to call 999 and ask for the Coastguard in coastal emergencies.
