Emergency services responded to reports of a high-risk man on a cliff edge at Mullion Cove yesterday.
Police were called at around 1.30pm to reports of a concern of welfare.
The man moved back from the cliff edge and was left in the care of support workers.
Mullion Coastguard Rescue Team was also paged to assist police and were requested to standby in case its assistance was needed.
The man was able to be moved to safety without the team's intervention and it was stood down.
