Firefighters were called in the early hours of Sunday
A FIRE at a building under construction in west Cornwall is suspected to be arson.
Crews were sent to Truthwall Terrace in St Just at 4.12am on Sunday, a spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said.
The spokesperson added: "Crews from St. Just and Penzance along with an officer attended this incident.
"Crews on arrival found a building under construction well alight, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used main jets and a high pressure hosereel jet to extinguish the fire."
The fire service said that arson was suspected and Devon and Cornwall Police have been informed.
