Disruption to trains out of Cornwall today is expected to last late into this evening.
Earlier Great Western Railway reported no service eastbound between Bodmin Parkway and Liskeard due to a signalling problem.
As a result trains were being cancelled and delayed.
The issue also affected trains further down the line, with some trains cancelled from Penzance.
GWR said at the time: "Due to a fault with the signalling system between Bodmin Parkway and Liskeard the line towards Plymouth is closed.
"Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised."
The company gave an estimate of midday for the problem to be resolved.
The line is now understood to have reopened, but train schedules are still warning of disruption on services between Truro and Plymouth, with delays possible.
This is expected to continue until 10pm.
