A woman was rushed to hospital after a house fire in Camborne.
Five emergency calls came in at 10.08am informing the fire service of a blaze in Penware Parc.
Paramedics attended the scene and one woman was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital in Treliske to be treated for smoke inhalation.
Police also attended to assist as smoke was entering neighbouring properties.
Arriving at the scene this morning, two fire engines from Tolvaddon found the building "well alight" and requested help from other crews.
Two more fire engines, one from Truro and one from Penzance were also called to the scene.
In total, four fire engines, an Incident Command Vehicle from St Just, an Operational Support Vehicle from Falmouth, a support vehicle from Tolvaddon and several full-time officers attended.
Breathing apparatus and three jets were used to tackle the blaze.
As of 1.06pm, police were still at the scene and the road was blocked.
