Reports of man trapped inside vehicle as Emergency Services rush to scene
EMERGENCY Services dashed to a one-vehicle crash last night amidst fears that the driver was trapped inside.
One appliance from Perranporth Fire Station, the Rescue Tender from Tolvaddon Fire Station and a Flexi Duty Officer were mobilised to reports of a vehicle that had rolled, with one person trapped inside.
The incident took place at Goonhavern, on the A3075 Chiverton Cross to Newquay Road, just after 9pm.
On arrival of the first appliance, it was found that it involved one vehicle with no persons trapped.
The fire crew administered first aid to one male casualty until the arrival of the ambulance.
They made the scene and vehicle safe and assisted with traffic management until the arrival of the police.
