An injured cyclist was rushed to hospital this morning after a collision with a car.
The accident took place on the B3297 between Four Lanes and Redruth.
There was slow traffic whilst the road was closed both ways for nearly two hours.
At 12.35pm it reopened.
The cyclist was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital in Treliske. Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening or life changing.
