The A39 was closed four five hours at Playing Place yesterday after a bus came off the road.
The incident took place at around 6pm last night and the road was blocked until 11pm.
There was only one passenger in the bus as well as the driver, neither of whom were injured.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police were notified at around 6pm last night to reports of a single vehicle collision on the A39 at Playing Place, Truro.
"A bus had come off side of road, partially blocking road.
"The driver and a passenger were the occupants at the time and were uninjured.
"The road was re-opened at around 11pm."
Officers from Cornwall Fire, Rescue and Community Safety Service also attended to assist and make the scene safe.
