A person died after being struck by a train between Penzance and Truro this morning.
Police were called at 9.49am and the person was sadly pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
British Transport Police are now working to identify the person and inform their family.
All lines between the two stations are currently blocked due to the incident.

Disruption is expected until 1pm.
Passengers are advised to travel by bus whilst the rail services are suspended.
First Kernow are conveying passengers via the T1 and T2 services.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to lines in Truro at 9.49am this morning following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended however sadly a person has been pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers are now working to identify the person and inform their family.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
