Falmouth and Penryn volunteers raised more than £5,000 for a charity supporting people with terminal illnesses.
The Holly Ball, a black tie dinner organised by the Falmouth and Penryn Fundraising Group, took place at Penmorvah Manor in December to support Marie Curie.
Around 80 guests enjoyed an evening of food, music and casino games along with an auction, raffle and tombola.
A total of £5,166 has been raised so far, which will help to fund 258 hours of Marie Curie nursing care and support locally.
The Holly Ball was supported by several local businesses and members are now planning next year's event, which will take place on Friday December 4.
Anyone seeking more information about next year's ball or anyone wishing to join the local fundraising group and help to take part in collections, appeals and events on behalf of Marie Curie Cornwall can contact Lynda Thomas on 01872 260500.
