EMERGENCY Services are at the scene of a crash involving two vehicles in Ponsanooth.
The A393 St Michael's Road - the main road between Falmouth and Redruth - is blocked in both directions.
Police on scene have confirmed that it involved two cars and took place around 2.30pm.
Originally it was thought that a bus was also involved in the incident, but that proved not to be the case.
A car was in collision with a van and two casualties have been taken to Treliske Hospital.
There is very heavy traffic in the area due to the accident at the junction of Speech Lane after the road was closed from the junction for Stithians to Treluswell roundabout.
UPDATE: The accident has now been cleared and traffic is returning to normal.
