A BUS has crashed in what is thought to be a single vehicle accident near Truro.
Police were called following reports of an road traffic collision involving the bus on the A390 between Tresillian and the Probus turn-off.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "It appears that the bus may have hit the hedge and then ended up on the other side of the road.
"There don’t appear to be any other vehicles involved or injuries."
Debris including soil and branches are on the road so a clear-up is being organised.
There are long tailbacks in both directions.
UPDATE: The lanes reopened just before 6.30pm after the road was cleared.
