A drink driver who was more than four times over the legal limit has been jailed.
Scott Antony Taylor, aged 35, of Foxes Field, Eastern Green, Penzance, admitted committing the offence in Treffry Drive, Truro, on November 27.
He had 139mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath whilst driving a Kia Magentis. The legal limit is 35mcgs.
Truro magistrates sent him to prison for 14 weeks because of the high reading and a bad driving record.
He was banned from the roads for 50 months and ordered to pay £122 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Taylor was also charged with a separate offence of breaking a 60mph speed limit on the A30.
He, admitted committing the offence in a Seat Alhambra on the A30 at Connor Downs on June 25.
He was disqualified for 28 days and ordered to pay £85 costs.
