A FALMOUTH man's community order has been amended after it was deemed "unworkable".
Steven Paul Stivey, aged 57, of Treverbyn Road, received the two-year community order last June, after punching a woman and her daughter during a street brawl in the town.
Truro magistrates placed him on a restraining order forbidding him to contact his former partner and he was also ordered to complete the Building Better Relationships programme.
However, that requirement has been described as "unworkable" and amendment to the order was made by magistrates on Wednesday.
It means Stivey now has to comply with a rehabilitation activity requirement for a maximum of 15 days.
