The entire stretch of the A394 main road between Falmouth and Helston is to close for resurfacing from tonight until the weekend.
The closure will be from the Treliever Roundabout at Longdowns all the way to the Helston Relief Road and Falmouth Road roundabout in Helston.
It will be in operation between 7pm and 6am daily, starting tonight, and is expected to be completed by this Friday, February 14.
During this time resurfacing works will take place.
The closure order reads: "Nothing in this order will apply to emergency services, school buses, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies, and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer."
Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will also be maintained.
Diversions will be in place and signposted.
