Say it with a delicious shared dessert or a heart-shaped scone – that’s the message behind Callestick Farm’s decision to open their tea room on Valentine’s Day for the first time in the company’s 30-year history.
With heart-warming waffle cones, freshly baked cakes, pastries, cookie dough and Valentine sundaes made with Callestick’s award-winning ice-cream to choose from, there’s plenty to satisfy lovers and families alike.
“We thought it would be fun to open on such a special day and we’re getting lots of positive feedback on social media to suggest other people think it’s a great idea too,” said Callestick Farm marketing manager Amy Breach.
“There’s something very romantic about sharing a pudding. Maybe someone will even pop the question!”
The tea room will be open from 10.30am to 4.30pm from Friday 14 February for two weeks over the half term period. It will then open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, between the same hours, until the start of the main seven-day a week season on March 27.
Callestick Farm also offers free admission to its ice-cream factory and play area all year round.
