The main road between Helston and The Lizard is closed this week while resurfacing is carried out.
Overnight closure of the A3083 is in force between 7pm and 6am on the first section of the road and between 7pm and 7am on the second section.
It runs from Culdrose roundabout all the way down to the Ruan Minor turn off and is due to continue until this Friday, February 14.
The first section, between Mainlay at Culdrose and Cury Cross Lanes, is expected to be completed by tomorrow, February 12.
The second closure section, which came into force last night, is between Bochym Hill to Trevelyan Holiday Homes and Little Trethvas, near Ruan Minor and is expected to be in place until Friday.
Emergency services will still have access, with the closure order also specifying school buses, traffic associated with the works and "any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies", as well as any vehicle with the permission of a police officer.
Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
