Helston theme park Flambards is looking to recruit 80 members of staff, but anyone keen needs to move quickly.

A job fair is taking place next Wednesday, February 26 at which staff will be recruited for roles ranging from customer service hosts to catering assistants and ride operators, ready for the start of the 2020 season.

The park is hosting the recruitment day in conjunction with Helston JobCentre and it will take place at One2Eleven, the soft play centre at the end of Flambards' car park, between 10am and 1pm.

Flambards general manager Richard Smith said: "It is vitally important for us to get people who understand the importance of quality customer service. We want everyone that comes to Flambards to have the best day of the week - from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave."

Flambards fully re-opens to visitors on March 28, for the start of the school Easter holiday.

Application forms can be collected by emailing info@flambards.co.uk, or in person at Flambards or your local JobCentre.

The park said it is looking for applicants to have "very good customer service skills, with a positive, flexible attitude in a busy work environment."

Working hours will be subject to the park opening and are varied between 9am and 5pm, or 9pm on firework dates, over a seven day period. Employment will be part-time with the possibility of more hours during the high season and school holidays.

Employment is expected to begin mid-March for staff training and end on or around October 30 this year.
