A postgraduate performance company of London Contemporary Dance School will perform at Falmouth University on March 28.

EDGE is a contemporary dance company of 14 international dancers. They will showcase a triple bill of brand-new works by renowned choreographers Kristina and Sadé Alleyne (Alleyne Dance), Riccardo Buscarini and Igor X Moreno.

Alleyne Dance, who created 'To be…Myself' for EDGE said: “We would like to say thank you to all 14 amazing artists of EDGE. We wanted to challenge and push limits beyond their expectations. We wanted to assist them into becoming the artist they are capable to be through this physical creative process. Between the achievements, playfulness, failures and the challenging moments, we are very proud to see the dancers’ passion shine through in their physicality and we are excited to see how much they will grow through the tour and then onto the professional industry.”

With each piece comes a new point of exploration: how movement can create emotion or characters; how dance interacts with different art forms; and how using the body can reveal meaning, ideas and desires.

Audience members are told to expect "physicality, poetry, rigour and beauty as the 14 young dancers from across the globe (including the USA, Norway, Slovenia, Israel, Canada, Poland and the UK) invest power and passion into each work."

Tickets are £11, with concessions £8, and are available from the Falmouth University website.
