The man at the centre of a police appeal over concerns for his welfare has been found.

Police confirmed the news this lunchtime about Thomas Bowden, who had not been seen since around 8.40pm on Thursday.

He was last seen near to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro and police said they were growing “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of the 25-year-old.

Anyone who saw him was asked to call police immediately on 999.

This lunchtime a police spokesperson issued an update, saying: “Thomas Bowden, aged 25, has been found.

“Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.”
