A DRINK driver did so while he was disqualified.

Gabriel Alexandra Chivu, aged 33, of Church Lane, Camborne, admitted committing the offences and a further charge of driving without insurance on Feburary 14.

He was driving a Peugeot 307 on Cross Street, Camborne, when he registered 61mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.

Chivu must carry out 160 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and has been banned from the roads for a further 40 months.

He will also pay £85 costs and £90 victim surcharge.

DRIVING without insurance has resulted in a ban for a Mylor Bridge man.

Jordan Terrence Falcus, aged 24, of Eglos Meadow, admitted committing the offence in a BMW at Ponsharden, Falmouth Road.

He was disqualified for six months and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 victim surcharge.

A 35 year-old man who drove without insurance and MoT certificate in Chacewater has avoided a ban under the totting system.

He would also not be eligible for benefits and would effectively be homeless, as he would have to move out of the current home in order for his partner to claim benefits.

Phil Frank Wadsworth, aged 50, of Poldark Way, Camborne, admitted committing the offence on November 22 in a Ford Ranger.

A MAN has been sent to prison for three months after trespassing in a Camborne hotel with intent to steal.

Ross James Vicars, aged 28, of no fixed address, admitted committing the offence in Lowenac Hotel, Basset Street, on February 15.

He also admitted being found drunk in a public place using abusive words and threatening behaviour, which he was prohibited from doing by a criminal behaviour order made by magistrates on March 8, 2017.

Aaron Clayton, aged 30, of Black Rock, admitted drink driving in a Land Rover Discovery on a road near Treslothan Woods, Troon.

He was fined £350 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £35 victim surcharge.

A 40 year-old woman admitted possessing 48.2g of cannabis.

Tanya Caroline Bagnall, of Tresavean Flats, Lanner Moor, committed the offence on October 2.

She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 victim surcharge.

DRIVING without due care and attention has resulted in a fine for a 29 year-old man.

Travis Harte, of Albany Road, Redruth, admitted committing the offence on July 26 in Redruth, in a grey BMW.

He was fined £230 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs. His licence was endorsed with six points.

A 23 year-old man has been banned for drug driving.

Robbie David Lee, of Gyllvean Gardens, Lanner, admitted committing the offence on September 28 in a white Citroen Berlingo, in Dudnance Lane, Pool.

He had cocaine and benzoylecgonine in his blood, above the specified limit.

He also admitted driving without insurance or a licence.

He was disqualified for 22 months and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 victim surcharge.

DRIVING with cannabis in his system has resulted in a ban for a 51 year-old man.

Derek Kevin Milstead, of Back Lane West, Redruth, admitted committing the offence in Fore Street, in a black Renault Clio on September 26.

He also pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis.

He was banned for 12 months and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 victim surcharge.
