A GORSE fire at St Keverne on Saturday night is thought to be arson.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to Main Dale shortly after 7.30pm.
A spokesperson said: "Crews from St Keverne, Mullion and Helston were all in attendance at a high gorse fire approximately two hectares in area.
"The firefighters used hosereels and beaters to extinguish the fire, which is thought to have been started deliberately.
"The police have been informed."
