A FALMOUTH beach café has been giving away free boxes of veg to NHS workers.
Anyone who wanted one simply needed to show their NHS card at Gylly Beach Café.
However, such was their popularity that they have now all gone, with staff at the café saying they had "so many NHS workers coming down", although they will try to donate anything else they can if people turn up this afternoon.
NHS worker Rachel Lang got the last box and she told the café: "Your generosity has warmed my heart and I have some bread to make a sandwich for work."
The café also has also been giving away leftover fresh produce, milk, drinks, food, cheese and in return for a donation.
Keep an eye on its Facebook page for the latest availability.
With the Government telling eateries to close on Friday, the venue is currently serving from its beachside takeaway building from 9am to 5pm
It is also offering a collection or delivery menu from 9am to late every day.
