FALMOUTH Town have secured the return of both Jack Bowyer and Kirk Davies ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Right-back Davies initially joined Town from Penryn Athletic in 2012 before short spells at Helston Athletic and Penryn, alongside a spell at Combination League club Wendron United, before returning to Helston, where he would later become captain.

He left Kellaway Park again in June 2017 in favour of a brief move to St Austell before returning to Helston three months later, spending the next two years at the club before moving to rivals Porthleven in November last year.

Davies had initially agreed to join Town shortly before the season ended prematurely in March, but the onset of the coronavirus pandemic had delayed his arrival.

Former Sticker striker Bowyer only left Town in January, opting to join Chris Knight’s St Austell, but has now returned to Bickland Park ahead of the new season.

Bowyer began his first spell at Falmouth in the summer of 2018, signing from Sticker after a prolific few seasons at Burngullow Park. He topped the South West Peninsula League Division 1 West scoring charts with 42 goals in 2017, scoring hat-tricks in five successive games at one point, before scoring another 26 goals in the Premier a year later.

He scored 12 league goals in his first season at Town before adding another 14 last season, including four in a 5-4 win at home to Dobwalls.
