FALMOUTH Town defender James Ward has joined Plymouth Parkway.
Ward ends a second spell with the club in favour of a move to the Devon side, who were second in the Western League Premier at the time of the suspension of football amid the coronavirus outbreak in March.
After beginning his career as a Truro City youngster, Ward spent two years in the United States before arriving at Bickland Park in 2016, going on to score 16 goals in 123 appearances for Town.
His most memorable goal came in the Cornwall Senior Cup final in 2019, when his late header secured victory over Saltash United as Town lifted the trophy for the first time in 22 years.
Ward joined Truro City in the summer of 2019 and scored three goals in 12 starts for the Southern League Premier South side during his five-month spell at Treyew Road before returning to Town in November.
Ward also featured for Parkway's Western League rivals Tavistock last season.
