A MOTORCYCLIST aged in his 50s died as a result of a crash in Cornwall on Sunday.
Devon and Cornwall Police said it was called by the ambulance service to the A39 near Wadebridge at around 9.45am.
It happened close to the viaduct, a spokesperson for the force said.
They added: "Ambulance staff, including air ambulance paramedics, had located an unconscious male at the roadside. He appeared to have become unseated from a silver Honda motorcycle.
"Paramedics, including an off-duty paramedic, carried out CPR at the roadside, but sadly the male was declared deceased.
"Police are asking for any witnesses to please make contact on 101, quoting log number 307 210620."
Police have not yet confirmed any further details about the victim.
