A PROVISIONAL date has been set for Falmouth Town's Walter C Parson League Cup semi-final as the 2019/20 competition is due to reach a conclusion.
Town will face the winners of the quarter-final tie between Bovey Tracey and Mousehole on Wednesday, August 19 (kick-off 7.30pm).
If Mousehole win the quarter-final tie- which has been slated for Saturday, August 8 - the semi-final game will be played at Helston Athletic's Kellaway Park, or at Bodmin Town's Priory Park if Bovey Tracey win.
The other semi-final between Elmore and Millbrook will provisionally take place on Wednesday, August 12 at Ivybridge Town.
The final is due to be held at Liskeard Athletic's Lux Park on Saturday, August 29.
WATCH: Highlights of Falmouth Town's 3-2 win over St Blazey
All dates are subject to change and are based on an early September start for league competition.
Town beat St Blazey 3-2 to reach the semi-finals in their final match before the suspension of all sport amid the coronavirus outbreak in March.
The league season was declared null and void on March 26 but cup competitions has not been cancelled, with most cups at the latter stages.
Next season's League Cup is unlikely to be played in its standard format, with the South West Peninsula League currently favouring a mini tournament in May 2021 between the top two or four sides in each of its two divisions.
There is no update on whether the 2019/20 Cornwall Charity Cup, in which Town and Helston had both reached the semi-finals, will be completed.
