AN adult and two children were rescued from the water after their boat capsized in Mylor Harbour earlier today.
Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team said it was called at 1.15pm.
A spokesperson for the team said: "On scene it was found that a member of the public had recovered two children and an adult from the water.
The children had taken on a small amount of sea water and were checked over by team members. They were none the worse for wear and were taken home with some safety advice.
"Falmouth Lifeboat (ILB) were also tasked to assist, but stood down on route.
"Luckily, the group were wearing life jackets. This could have turned into a completely different incident if they weren't."
The team reminded the public to call 999 and ask for the Coastguard if someone is in trouble on the coast.
