There is heavy traffic on the A30 this lunchtime as holidaymakers leave Cornwall.

Traffic sensors at Three Burrows show queueing traffic on the A30 heading eastbound, from A390, Chiverton Cross roundabout, to the A39 Carland Cross roundabout.

According to the AA's live travel updates: "Traffic is queueing in patches due to increased holiday traffic heading home for the end of the week."

Be aware if you're heading out in that area that it is reporting severe delays of 16 minutes, with an average speed of just 15 mph.
