Two-mile queues have been reported this lunchtime following a crash between Falmouth and Truro.
Traffic reports show that three vehicles collided between the Devoran turn off and Perranarworthal, on the A39.
However, a police spokesperson said that the road had been recently cleared of vehicles, at 12.30pm.
It should mean that the congestion that has built up in both directions should begin to clear.
The force spokesperson said the crash was reported at around 11am.
He added that there had been no reported injuries.
There has been heavy congestion to the Carnon Downs roundabout heading westbound, with eastbound traffic queuing for about half a mile before the Norway Inn.
The latest update from travel monitoring service INRIX stated: "A39 was partially blocked, queueing traffic for two miles due to accident.
"Travel time is around 15 minutes.
"All lanes have been re-opened. All the vehicles have been recovered as of 12.30pm, however residual delays remain affecting traffic between Truro and Penryn."
Google Maps is still showing a dark red line through Perranarworthal and out past Devoran towards Carnon Downs, indicating the highest level of congestion.
