FOUR more arrests have been made and two people charged following the death of a man in Hampshire, for which a man from Camborne has already been charged.
Officers launched a murder investigation following the death of 21-year-old George Allison and the serious assault of a 27-year-old woman in Leigh Park.
At around 11pm on May 23 a man and woman were found at an address in Tichborne Grove having both sustained stab wounds.
Mr Allison, from Riders Lane, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 27-year-old woman, from Southsea, sustained serious injuries.
Officers have already charged Kevin Joseph Batchelor, 25, of East Hill, Camborne, with murder and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He is due to go on trial at Winchester Crown Court on November 9.
A 33-year-old woman from Havant and a 32-year-old woman from Waterlooville were both arrested this week on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The 33-year-old has been bailed until August 25, and the 32-year-old has been released from custody but remains under investigation.
Barry Baker, 38, of Oracle Drive, Waterlooville, and Lewis Turner, 32, of Waders Walk, Hayling Island were both arrested and subsequently charged with assisting an offender.
They have both been bailed to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on August 27.
