A ten-year-old boy has been injured after falling from a quay near Falmouth.
He was playing with friends at Kiln Quay Beach, Flushing when he fell from the quay.
A spokesperson for Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team, which was called to the beach just after 5pm yesterday, said: "On scene a ten-year-old boy was in the care of his parents.

"He'd been playing with friends and fallen from the quay onto an unattended SUP (stand up paddle board) injuring his lower back."
Coastguard team members assessed his injuries and it was decided to not try and move him at that stage.
They kept him warm and comfortable until the arrival of a South Western Ambulance Service crew.

Coastguards then handed the boy into the care for further treatment and returned to base at around 6.45pm.
An update on the boy's condition is not known.
