MILLOM residents have been invited to get involved with the creation of a memorial to remember how the community came together in the coronavirus pandemic.
People are asked to paint a pebble which will be cemented and varnished alongside memories of the lockdown, praise to the services and tributes to the lost members of the community.
The memorial will find its home in the sensory area of Millom park.
To get involved, take your pebble to Millom Council's centre on St George’s Road.
Please call 01229 772340 before arriving at the centre to ensure its safe collection.
