UPDATE: Toobs has now been found. Read the full story here.
A dog has gone missing after falling overboard from a boat sailing off the coast of Falmouth and St Mawes last night.
Owner Wayne Booth has now appealed for people to help find short-haired border collie Toobs - also known as Joanah - who he believes may have swum to shore and is now lost.
He said: "A huge police and coastguard search on land and sea, using thermal imaging, went on until the early hours of this morning, but found nothing.
Toobs is a short-haired boarder collie
"We believe that she could quite easily have made it ashore as she had been known to swim over a mile at a time.

"We need to find her as soon as possible so want anyone who lives in Falmouth or St Mawes to ask friends of they have stored her wandering about."
Toobs has no collar, but is microchipped with an old address.
Toobs and Wayne are regular sailors
Wayne added: "We want her back as soon as possible. Please pass this on to a many people as you can in the area."
Anyone who thinks they might have seen a dog matching Toobs's description can call Wayne on 07970 299841.
